The board is constructed from Sheesham and Boxwood in a folding design to save space and to create a compartment inside to store the pieces. This compartment has individual slots to store each piece specifically so that they do not move around. The board folds in half completely and is sealed shut with two magnetic locks to keep it closed.
The pieces are made of boxwood with natural and stained brown finishes, and feature magnets to allow play even in turbulent conditions.
